Strike Through wont work if text was copied from Google Docs

I just recently found out that a Strike Through text wont work when it was copied from Google Docs.

So here's what happened

  1. If I copied the text from the Google Docs and pasted it to GMAIL and sent it to an email address (of course that person I'm sending uses notes client). They will see the text with no strike through.

  2. But if I copied the text from Google Docs pasted it to any email or email program like zimbra, thunderbird or let us say hotmail or yahoo in web then sent to email address (again that persons uses notes client). They will see the text with strike through.

For me, HCL Notes or maybe Google , i dont know, they need to do a little legwork with this issue.

The alternate solution is to just to do the strike through in the GMAIL itself works fine, my friend can receive the strike through with that but this is an inconvenience to everyone who uses Google Docs because you have to be mindful on redoing the strike through if you're gonna send it via gmail.

Not everyone can do that especially if you're task are piling up.

So here, I need to ask a favor if you can manage to have the Notes Client see the strike through when the text was copied from a google text and sent via gmail.

This only happens in Notes but not happening with iNotes, Verse on Premise

and verse mobile(iOS and android).
