Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

The database with the ODS-only extension above has the following problem
Not backed up by the V12 backup task with the default settings.
Not in the list in the Files tab of the Domino Administrator.
Not in the list in the Open Application dialog.
This hasn't happened in my environment yet, but in the future if you have problems with the upgrade to ODS 55 on Domino V12 and have to downgrade to ODS 53, you will need to use the .ns10 extension.

".N85" is one of the ODS-specific extensions. Some applications have extensions beginning with ".ns" in the list of applications, but ".n85" does not. Is ".n10" provided for ODS level 53 on the list.
Can you please explain what the benefit would be? Where is this specific file extension used?
