HCL Domino Ideas Portal

Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Request Notes to have the event like feature to monitor the client logs and report it to an administrator.

This will assist administrators in identifying any problems that Notes may encounter and taking appropriate action as soon as possible.

e.g.

Monitor "Remote system no longer responding" in log.nsf or console.log.

"Remote system no longer responding" has been reported in log.nsf or console.log.

Then a notification sends to an administrator.

This can tell how many times Notes did try to access to Domino which has been down.

It will be done if you can set a couple of administrators whose home server is different.

Not only network problems, but also other messages in the Notes log need to be promptly forwarded to an administrator.

    e.g.

"ID failed to upload to vault 'xxx'. xxx' (IP Address xxx) made request. Error"

"ID xxx failed to download from vault 'xxx' on server 'xxx'. 'xxx' made request. Error"

"Warning: Fixup purged corrupt document UNID xxxx from xxxxx"

"Document NTxxxxxx in database xx is damaged: Document has invalid structure"

How would this event be sent to the admin if there is no network connectivity?
