Would like better tools to troubleshoot calendar issues

Troubleshooting calendar issues is a time-consuming process because there are no tools to easily identify the cause of issues.

At my previous company we had an app developed that tracked all calendar events by modifying the mail template to collect information whenever a calendar entry was created, deleted, updated or deleted, and wrote to a calendar log database where we were able to sort by ApptUNID, Date, Chair, Recipient, etc. This allowed admins to quickly see all activity related to the meeting in question.
