Autodiscover for IBM Notes: Get rid of scriptable setup file (and use srv records)

While the ID file does not need to be provided anymore for a Notes client setup, one has still to provide a scriptable Setup file to automate the Client setup. With a autodiscover mode the Notes Client would be able to find the next Domino Server and to retrieve all necessary user info by only prompting for the Notes Name. This might be established by using srv records

    Great idea

I have used Scriptable Setup (https://support.hcltechsw.com/csm?id=kb_article&sysparm_article=KB0036482), using environment variables to detect the notes user, being able to open the notes client without user intervention (just write your password ).

It would be ideal, to stop editing INI files (we are in the year 2021), and to be able to configure this centrally, for all users.

I certainly would like to be able to install a webkit and start the client without any user intervention.

It would be nice to have an autodiscover server, bu it might be better if we could provide the setup.txt info from that server.

May be scriptsble setup should be by default ON. With empty config.txt. For regular admin it is much easier, to modify existing file, then to recompile installation, put custom notes.ini and add few files by default.
