I would like to be able to very easily set the default initial experience to have the Workspace as the home page and dock the open list with large icons. Telling users how to navigate to make these settings changes is a nightmare. Is that in line with what you are proposing?
In Addition:
- make the workspace tab sidebar themable (currently always grey)
- let us move workspace tabs by drag and drop to reorder them
- introduce a serious dark mode as an additional theme
@tim would you please point out what exactly you mean with "Desktop Experience"? IF you speak about the
The is a complete theming approach available that should not need notes.ini settings being changed by users at all. So if somebody for whatever reason does prefer the ugly 12.0.2 tile layout, it should just be an option in the themes list to pick from, although I recommend to just drop it in favor of the described improvements:
- make the tile frame invisible so a 100% transparent tile will have no frame border (looks like 12.0.1 layout)
- make the unread cound a five figure number at least (just like apple does) and put it back in the top right corner (looks like 12.0.1 layout)
- make the replica selector a bit lss green and put it in the lower right (looks like 12.0.1 layout)
To introduce an INI switch for this theming switching was a mistake and this should be corrected instead of further fiddly tinkering.
