Fresh installation of multi-user Notes Client V11 (and later version) and determining the data directory.

Installing the multi-user Notes Client V11(or later release) version is possible.

While installation of multi-user Notes Client V11, the data directory will be in the HCL folder by default.

Notes® Program Directory in such cases is installed in a path similar to -->

C:\Program Files (x86)\HCL

Notes® Data Directory in such cases is installed in a path similar to -->

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\HCL\Data


The path for the Program directory can be changed to some other path like "C:\Program Files (x86)\HCL" during installation.

However, the path for the Data Directory cannot be changed. It will have a reference to the "HCL" folder in it.

The requirement is to provide a feature to choose a Data Directory of own choice during multi-user installation.

    There is similar AHA request with respect to determining Data directory during upgrade to multi-user Notes Client from some previous release to Notes V11(or later).
