HCL Domino Ideas Portal

Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

When an ACL is updated, is there a way to avoid a logoff/restart for permission change to take effect?

When an ACL is updated, can you come up with a way to avoid a logoff/restart for permission change to take effect?

For example, adding a person to a group or a role seems to always require a client restart if the caller does not have a polite technician to offer Control-F5 as a less disruptive alternative. It seems there could be a smoother or more modern way for this to work.

That would really have helped me out today with an issue we are having.
