For V12.0.2FP2, we found out emojis are not support on Xpages. As soon as saving that page, emojis will turn into question mark. It is confirmed by HCL that it is still an issue under assessing. However, we also found out that changing Xpage display to Form display on web will make the emoji display normally.

Disappointing that inbox emails with emojis still don't render in HCL Notes 12.0.2 client. They DO render in HCL Verse.

Please support emojis! They are not supported in V12.01.

When implementing this, do it properly, translating keyboard shortcuts to emojis, not only choosing from a list of icons. So a ;-) becomes a wink emoji and a :-D becomes a big smile.

I do this all the time from the file menu, choose Import. Works with most gifs if they aren't to big.
