You could have a mail-in database and then set up a redirect externally that stirps off the email headers.  IE Staff are given an common email address to send mail to from their HOME email account (google / hotmail etc) that goes through a forwarding mail server but removes all traces of the senders details.

Doesn't the Depositor ACL level address this?

currently you could set up a dedicated server where logging is set to minimum, however a network connection will leave traces in other parts of your network (proxies, routers, etc). So just not logging your Notes client session will still log your IP address elsewhere. There is a lot more to be considered.
At the moment I can not see a big demand for this feature on database level, but lets see how many votes & comments this idea will get.

use case is that we have a whistleblower application against e.g. sexual harrassment, corruption, violence where people can report a person/organisation misbehaviour. the application has no use unless we can guarantee 100% anonymous on the Notes aplpication. But I assume you could have figured out the use-case, right????

What is the use case behind this idea? Who would benefit from this idea? Keeping in mind that Domino servers are mostly used in corporate environments where audit compliance is a key requirement.
