If you see database corruption, the root cause is most likely caused by something outside of Domino. e.g. storage subsystem, antivirus, etc. This problem needs to be looked at. It is NOT a product issue.
I have lots of mail db & other dbs larger than 2 gb without any problems.
there was a problem like this a long long time ago with DBs created on Windows on an ntfs drive when Windows had a 2 gb limit.
If I remember correctly the way to fix it was too create a new replica of the database
I would be surprised if this was directly related to the size of the DB.
There are lots of reasons for corruption. e.g. Anti virus scanning the DBs/transaction logs, hard disk failure, MS shadow copy operating on the drive, non compatible backup software.
