HCL Hosted 'Clearinghouse' for federated chat

The description of the HCL hosted 'clearinghouse' sounds nice to permit a connector/gateway between different sametime communities.  But raises some possible security concerns. I imagine if the customers generate/manage their own keys,etc. and in a sense use the clearinghouse, but would like to see that customers are assured security/encryption of chats and that histories and the like are only permitted to be kept/cached/stored on the client's servers, not in the clearinghouse.

Have an HCL clearinghouse to federate all Sametime users

We currently use Nextplane for chat federation, but would love it if HCL provided the same functionality.
