Users are expected to be allowed to change the default room for Sametime Meetings as currently, the meeting service creates a default room for users. For example, MeetMe.xyz~40acme.com, and this conversion is something that is built in the meeting code. Thus customers cannot change it from the default settings. This modification is requested for the customer who doesn't want to have a customized room by using the secure user rooms feature.

    this has been improved to change the default URL and allow users to modify and specify desired meeting link from all clients.

    I have just installed sametime V11.5 and our URLS show as

    https://meetings.mydomain/meeting/MeetMe.Robert+Read


    Maybe there has been a change

    The MeetMe link should be user friendly and currently we don't have possibility to skip the ugly "~40domain.com " part. At least replace the encoded @ char (~40) with something which does not stand out so much.
