Provide a migration tool which can convert existing Sametime 9.0.x Advanced Server Chat Room history to Sametime 11.x/12.x environment

One of our customer started to use Sametime Sametime 9.0.x Advanced Server Chat Room 5 years ago and has many useful data in these chat rooms. Now this customer consider to migrate to Sametime 11.x/12.x and wish HCL could provide some tool to migrate these data to new Sametime Server environment.


There is no migration tool to do that in Sametime 11.x/12.x , please consider to provide it.

    As mentioned, without Chat Room support in 11.x/12.x, there is not migration "to". Setting this as no plans to implement... however, when Chat Rooms are delivered a migration tool from v9 environments will be considered. Thank you for this feedback.

    There are no Chat Rooms in Sametime 11.x/12.x, so there's no "destination" where you could migrate the data from Sametime 9 Advanced Chat Rooms to.

    Sametime 11.x/12.x only has group chats, that work quite differently from Chat Rooms in Sametime 9.
