Provide some parameters to disable the automatic load and display of tabbed chat window right after Notes startup (login to Sametime Server) for Notes embedded Sametime 12.x client

Customer has a Sametime 11.6 limited use server, and use Notes 12.0.2 FP2 embedded Sametime 12 client to access Sametime Server.

As you know because of the persistent chat function provided from Sametime 11.x, right after login to Sametime Server from Notes 11.0.x/12.0.x embedded Sametime client, the tabbed chat window will be loaded and displayed for each opened chat sessions which were remained in tabbed chat window when Notes client was quitted last time.

This customer think that the auto loaded (displayed) tabbed chat window is very annoying . But they does not want to disable the persistent chat function on both Sametime Server and client side by using some parameters.

But there is no way to do that for Notes 12.0.2 FP2 embedded Sametime 12 client.

Customer wish HCL could provide some parameters to do that in future release or future FP.

Thanks!

In Notes 11.5, the chat window was set to not display during startup (lazy loading). This looks like a defect/regression in Notes 12.x. Setting this to "already exists" and open a support case to report a defect. Thanks!
