Additional policies for Meetings usage Merged

New policies are needed to control Sametime meetings.

For example

  • Permissions to create meetings

  • How many meetings can be created?

  • Allow meeting room content to be downloaded

  • Allow searching for meeting rooms

  • Allow meetings to be recorded

Currently, only the following policies exists.

im.meetingsEnabled

This policy appears to disable all features of the meeting.

It is difficult for the organization to operate without more detail control.

    We would like to control meetings by various functions, rather than disabling all features.

    Old Sametime 9 can control more.


    For example

    • Permissions to create meetings

    • How many meetings can be created?

    • Allow meeting room content to be downloaded

    • Allow searching for meeting rooms

    • Allow meetings to be recorded

    • ...

    When im.meetingsEnabled=false is set for a user, they should still be allow to attend a meeting (as a Guest user would as well), they just cannot create a meeting. Can you clarify specifics and what your users with this disabled are experiencing. Can they not attend meetings?
