HCL Domino Ideas Portal

Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Add an option to disable sending email by Ctrl+Enter

Currently, Ctrl+Enter sends the email draft immediately without confirmation in Verse.

This has a potential danger of sending an offensive email or leaking sensitive information, e.g. Ctrl+V and pressing Enter before releasing the Ctrl key can send the current clipboard note to an external client.

There are two solutions I can think of:

1) Pop up a confirmation box only when Ctrl+Enter is pressed before sending off immediately.

2) Add an option to disable Ctrl+Enter.

Might be good to implement this as something with a check box in Verse preferences/settings section.
