Drop (or at least Fix) the frickin' 'Prohibit design refresh or replace to modify'
We've all done it, copied a design element from a db with a template and said 'No' to the 'Would you like these <elements> to be automatically updated...', sometimes to a new db, sometimes to the same db

Make the Styles created in Client available in Designer
You can create various text styles in the Notes client, but these are not available in the Design client

In the design client, when working on a view, allow the document properties box to work on documents in the view -would be incredibly helpful to check a doc when writing a complex selection statement, for example

You pick a handful of documents in a view, run an agent against them, and then grrrrrr - they aren't selected any more and you have to remember which ones you'd picked

Set properties for all selected Forms, Views, Subforms etc.
In the design client, with a list of all design elements, select all or some of them, and be able to change all the element properties (specifically background images and colours, action bar properties, include in various menus etc.)
