Ability to open the mail-preferences in a maildatabase directly from adminclient

As an Admin, we often need to verify and/or change mail-preferences for our users. The only way now is to open their maildatabase and choose <More>-<Preferences>.

We would like to have a way to open the mail-preferences without opening the maildatabase for 2 reasons:

  • sometimes we are not allowed to see their mail

  • its faster :-)

    @Thomas: about everything possible in order to support the users. We are not happy when to add design into the default names.nsf.

    And as an answer to your question: Why not?

    It's for administrators easier to do their jobs. Especially when you are not allowed to see the users mailcontent. You have to ask access to their mailfile and add yourself into the correpsonding admin-group, etc.....

    For reference, what are you changing in the user's mail preferences, and why does this function need to be located in the admin client. Why cant you add your own custom action in the NAB, (or toolbar icon) to open the calendar profile for a selected user?
