Dramatically enhance server mail routing rules functionality (look at Exchange mail Rules) Merged

  •     * (asteriscs) in any part of any field (sender, recipients, sending or target host's IP etc.) - maybe regex syntax.
  •     add more reactions (reroute to host, reroute to another recipient, send additional hidden copy to ..., rewrite or update at begin/end Subject or Body fields, replace any address fields content, change any message option i.e. importance etc.)
  •     make complex boolean operations between mail rule's conditions;

 

All of the above mail rules enhancements should work with any mail type (Notes Mail routing and SMTP mail routing)

    additionally ... in the cloud environment, there is no type of mail rules at the service level. Only personal mail rules.

    It would be good to have a series of minimum rules to be able to apply at the service level for incoming / outgoing emails. Like the "Mail Flow" options of O365.
    For example, currently in the cloud environment, service only, it is impossible to configure a custom autoresponder rule for a mail box such as sales@acme.com, so that it automatically responds to every email received saying that "your order has been received correctly and will be answered as soon as possible "
    This is a basic functionality that is supported by all world-class solution providers, but also by many many economics web pages/mails hostings providers.


    We have requested IBM via PMR to enable a customized template in the SmartCloud-ServiceOnly service to perform this "autoresponse" action, but the request was rejected because that customization is considered an "application".


    It is necessary that the cloud service provide these basic options such as out-of-the-box functionalities
