#dominoforever | Product Ideas Portal

Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Publish documentation of NRPC

It would be nice if we were able to implement alternative clients that access Domino via NRPC

At least negotiate to open port 443 (HTTPS) since other software will most like support some sort of web service / REST communication.

The point is: C-API needs an installed client or server. All documented protocols (DIIOP, gRPC...) need an open TCP-Port. Sometimes 1352 is the only open port and installing a client is not an option (politics, you know ;-) )
