At least negotiate to open port 443 (HTTPS) since other software will most like support some sort of web service / REST communication.
The point is: C-API needs an installed client or server. All documented protocols (DIIOP, gRPC...) need an open TCP-Port. Sometimes 1352 is the only open port and installing a client is not an option (politics, you know ;-) )
Well, I more thought of the C API Tookit which includes the documentation
