Cluster failover : define to which other server to fail over.

If you have a cluster spanning multiple major sites, it would be preferable for the users in Site A to fail over to another cluster member in the same site rather than a server in another location - modifying the cluster.ncf is not practical because it is automatically updated

A third member of the cluster is sometimes added to perform tasks such as backup or archiving, and the primary and secondary are intended for user failover. In such cases, I have named the primary Mail-01, the secondary Mail-C1 and the tertiary Mail-D1.

Hi Thomas.  The cluster spans a WAN, the servers local to a users are preferable to avoid latency. Also one site is less busy than the other so Domino seem to allocate a quiter server (ie remote location).

Can you explain the use-case behind this request? if your cluster consists of 3 servers, and one server being down, why does the user need to fail over to a specific server and can not choose a random target?
