Think Big : Provide 50 Lotus Client License free Merged

Provide 50 Lotus Client License free to all old Lotus Domino customers who have been not renewed their contract license.

 

IBM/Partner/HCL employee contact to customer(Old Lotus Domino) with handshaking meeting and tell us about new Lotus Domino version package and provide 50 free license package(life time) with all the latest feature.

 

Also include free Lotus Notes template like,

  1. Ticket Management Tools.
  2. Assets management system (AMS Tools).
  3. Facility management system.

These are more advantages for customer feedback.

 

 

Q: Why IBM/HCL provides 50 Lotus Client License free?

Ans : Because, currently each and every customer have lotus Domino client.  Still they have 1-2 Lotus Domino servers in their environment for migrating their applications.

Benefit is,

  1. Many customers still have Lotus Domino environment. They can use this official license version in their environment (customer do not worry about license).
  2. Customer can test Lotus Domino & Client effectively with their environment with latest feature.
  3. Every 4-6 months back, IBM/HCL/Partner can ask about their feedback with handshaking.

Major point,

  1. IBM Domino running on customer environment.
  2. Might be they will change their mind after 6-12 months and many be comeback to lotus domino.
  3. Might be they retain their application on Lotus Domino and do not migrate it.

    You had merged my Idea with other idea. But both idea's have difference.

    My idea is to provide 50 client licence to old customer who has not renewed
    their licence (Domino Setup already available).
    And other's idea is provide 50 licences to all. This idea is also good but
    it is difficult to handle the situation as you have to increase Lotus
    Domino Administrator and developer across the world.

    Anyways, Please take action on Immediate basis. You are taking very dam
    slow in decision.

    Please convey my message to respective team.
