Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Redesign an existing app is a big challenge. Today you have basically only the choice to change to a web application, because if you have a lot of views, forms and pages and have to update each design element separately - no customer will pay for it. One Option is to use xPages (for Notes Client and/or browsers), but it takes also a lot of time to implement in existing business applications.
Additional benefit: users are more comfortable if they can choose something, e.g. between different color schemas.
It would be very helpful if existing Notes native design elements as forms, views, folders, ... can be fully designable by CSS (or something similar), including e.g. text field properties or date time.
I don't think all CSS items need to be implemented........ I agree, just update the design elements from 1990 to 2020
I don't think all CSS items need to be implemented. However design elements which match current simple CSS instructions would be of massive benefit.
Indeed! I've tried to implement default layout with the existing CSS support. It simply did not work. Far too many CSS features are not supported by the client
