Add Option for Computed Fields to Compute On Open

If a Computed field contains a value, then the field is not re-computed on document open.

Add an option for Computed fields to "Compute on Document open".

This option could be added below the current "Compute after validation" computed field option in the Field property box.

Edit:

While a Computed for Display field would satisfy my required to compute on NotesDocument open, a Computed for Display field does not save its value on Document save.

    Afaik the purpose of a computed for display field is NOT to store the content. Hence a CFD field should never contain data. Use a computed field for that.

    Hi Thomas, you are correct that a Computed for Display field does compute on open, but it does not save its value to the NotesDocument on save of the document. For my purpose I would like to calculate on open (even if there is already a stored value) and save that value on save.

    Can you please explain what is different from a field of type "Compute for Display" ?
