Id like to see the possibillity to use Office Online Server on Premise from inside the Notes Client.
Most of our Users are Online 100%, so the benefit of doing all their Work inside Notes is securitywise and better than collaborating on Microsoft Platforms und probably faster, hence the Documents are already there.
If they were offline, they cant collaborate on either Platform
Any progress so far on it .. most specifically on Domino Web applications with office online. Or any recommendations from Product development team?
In Sales & Marketing, IBM and Box offers to use Microsoft Office Online and Google Docs and Spreadsheets for free, IBM Notes and Domino Licensing should have Office Tools (Online or Offline) for free, we will compete with Microsoft or Google
The benefit of doing this is to compete with Office 365.
Can I use the online ms office plugins like ibm the connection bar?
How would a Notes client (which can work offline) benefit from a browser editor which can only work online?
