There is already a third party product called TrustView from TrustSphere that can harvest your mail tracking data and display report based on it. IMHO HCL should not duplicate the effort to built an already exist product. Not to mention that this will also support the corresponding business partner.

Are you wanting to intercept and then approve for release, suspect email and do the laws of the land / explicit company policies allow this? How would you know if someone sent an email to the private mailbox of a person who worked for a competitor?
