No - it's not. How can I open a shared team mailbox in verse? Let's assume you have set up a team mailbox on the Domino server [mail14.ntf based] in a dedicated mailbox: mail\sales.nsf (sales@yourdomain.com). Here is my use case:
We want to have all team members to work with / in that mailbox. Currently this can only be done using the Notes client. This teammailbox can be opened on the web, but there is only an iNotes interface available (afaik) [14.0FP2]. All team members would like to have also access to this dedicated team mailbox using their iPhones/Android devices or via browser (ideally using Verse). Not possible right now. They can only sync their own personal mailboxes. The major benefit of the team mailbox is that when working in one (with the Notes client), you always get the sender address automatically set correctly to sales@yourdomain.com.
Everything is getting even more complicated/cumbersome if you try to send SMIME email (either signing or encrypting) with that team mailbox. That is the hard part. Getting that working well together would be a real unique selling point for Domino.

One minor improvement for better usability. There needs still to be a owner of the database. This name e.g. John Doe is then listed in upper left corner for the database. It would be way better to list the sending address there, e.g. sales@acme.com instead of the name: John Doe. This confuses usaually all people using the team mailbox.
The new team mailbox in mail12.ntf is better than the regular mail file which everyone had access and could respond from. It's good progress.
Good News for Domino 12 - the all new mail12.ntf has the Team Mailbox feature now as a new functionality built into the template!
To make it work,:
you need a Mail-in definition in Domino Directory for e.g. sales@mydomain.com
it needs to have mail12.ntf as template design
in the mailbox Preferences... -> Access & Delegation --> Access to your Mail & Calendar
you need to [x] check mark: Enable Alternate From Feature
optional [x] check mark: Automatically use internet address of Mail-in database as sender (sales@mydomain.com)
It's a step in the right direction. However, it needs a few improvements...
This would be very helpful. But this template should include a state of the art web-frond-ent, too!

The team mailbox is not bad, but the design is already quite old-fashioned. So it would be a great thing if HCL would design a template for a team mailbox similar to the one for the Teamroom. Here you should then be able to restrict or define access to folders, among other things.

This teammail has been used for years, it runs well. Now, it need å real design update.
Define signatur in person document on server? To be used on all platforms.
an additional tag on every email (e.g. “done”) a user can set and the name of the user adding the tag would be very nice.
