New and improved ready to use web template/applications that come ready to be utilized by the customer out of the box

The initial Discussion, File Library and other templates haven't been updated past a rudimentary web front end with the exception of Team Room.  Unfortunately it was not included and sold instead but otherwise not available easily.   Part of the draw of other unnamed platforms are the ready to use application templates with little to no coding needed.   Out of the box functionality is key to drawing in new customers.  A solid web calendar that can be tied to any custom application is a good start.  We have struggled to get a web calendar for years and those years caused a lull in productive and useful applications.   Update the existing templates to web 2.#, make them configurable and a learning tool for up and coming developers.   A web site template to build a web site,  Customer tracking, product catalog, contact list ... etc.

    Definitely agree with the Solid web calendar.  There should be a template that is only a calendar template.  That can be used to create application calendars for vacation tracking, Team Events, Projects for example.  The calendar must display nicely in notes client, the browser and ideally traveler.  It also needs to provide some compatibility so that others can overlay it on their calendars ical would be a good start as almost every platform allows that to be overlaid.

    I fully support this. Please upgrade and visually update all the OOB templates (team room, resources, ...) for both Notes and web client. They still look like in Notes 6.5  and haven't been significantly updated for ages.

    Agree, important when we use Verse, we can't go to check who have reserved a resource, or manage reservation from web ui ... check my idea related to verse https://domino.ideas.aha.io/ideas/VRSSAAS-I-52

    And I forgot a Charting library or 3.  OpenNTF has a couple of excellent projects for DOJO and Java.
