HCL Domino Ideas Portal

Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

One Location Document only for new Notes client setup

Thomas H. asked me to break up the original post, https://domino-ideas.hcltechsw.com/ideas/NTS-I-931, so the dev team could tackle each item individually.

Only show one Location document, once installed, not 3,4 or 6, it just causes more support issues by people accidentally clicking on the wrong one(why they click on it to begin with is another story).

Leave the option to create more in the PNAB, because some people need it, but stop with the multiple locations shown by default. Support people worldwide are begging you for this one. If there is only the default location, users will not click on what "they think" is the right location, which from experience is ALWAYS the wrong one.

Not sure what is being suggested here but if multiple Location Documents are used in your environment (we use them) then you need the ability to easily switch between them.

Removing the option to switch between them would be a backward step. If it is implemented then please do it by an notes.ini variable so individual organisations can make the choice.

If you don't require multiple Location Documents then why don't you delete the redundant ones?
