I can see it when editing a rich text field in a document, and works as expected
You say it’s shipped in V12, but I fail to see it.

I agree this would be super helpful!!
Using something like the Paragraph Format option in MS-Word or Open Office Writer (or Lotus SmartSuite!), with a drop down box of available styles (instead of the current Styles toggle button) would go a long way to fixing this! Add an option to create new style (either from scratch), or based on current paragraph, would also help!
