We'd like the ability to add a disclaimer to all incoming SMTP email. We'd prefer something we can customize, but the general wording would be something like this:
IT Department Security Alert
This is an external email. Please make sure you trust the source of this email before clicking links or opening attachments.
Our head of Operations sees this on replies from people she's emailed and frustrates her that this is not possible in Domino.
A must-have features in this competitive world.
are there any news about this topic?
Unfortunately, it is long overdue that there is an option in Domino to mark mails that come in from outside. If the system is to remain competitive, then this is unfortunately one of the things a system has to offer today, so it is an absolute must have.
Great Idea, should be define as a Router Rule.
Addition to my comment from 07.12.2021:
We implemented in Notes-Client an additional wording "Exteres Mail" in red letters to all incoming emails. But we do miss this option in Verse-App and iOS/Android presentation.
AT present this is a feature-gap between HCL Notes-Client and Verse/Mobile-App. This gap should be closed because we are permanently subject to IT security measures - regardless of the chosen app.
This feature absolutely needs to be added. Other platforms have had this ability for sometime now. Its time for HCL to implement it.
This would be a helpful feature to raise awareness with end users that the email orignates from outside the organization.
Seeing this request in many forums, but nothing provided by HCL or the panel of experts on how to do this. An agent would be good.
It will be really a good option, if it is adding all incoming mail from outside. Mail users will able to conscious
This feature really makes sense in todays world (Office 365 /Exchange and others have this feature too).
Would appreciate if this will be implemented - as soone as better.
Thanks Rolf
We need this feature too
To add a header or disclaimer at the top alerting for outside the local domain smtp incoming mails. Exactly the one HCL uses too at their mail communications.
Thanks a lot

Customer need to add below disclaimer in all incoming external emails. "CAUTION: This email originated from outside of the organization. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe"
