Each major update a nightmare. Starting with the self-extracting package which fails regularly to self-extract. Offering a data install path in Program Files, ignoring the existing path in an User directory. And so on. Usually it ends with a new installation, then re-loading the databases manually. Compared to any other major software packages, a shame. Maybe there are tools for larger environments, but for a small environment, it is extremely painful.
Yes! Would like to get single-file installer to install for example Notes 9.0.1 FP10 IF383 with an up-to-date- embedded sametime client. Currently this takes 3 installs. And please add support autodiscover.
